Reasons Why We Never Reach Our Fitness Goals

In a blink of eyes, we’re already in the 2nd month of this year 2013. Very fast, right? Hurmm…

As usual, I would like to share with you some more information about health and fitness.

From year to year, many of us have been determined to achieve our fitness goals but still cannot success. For examples, you want to lose weight, but never lose. You want to gain weight, but never gain. Why?

You keep asking and asking why these things happen to you. Here, let me tell you the reasons why you still on the same place:

1. No Guidance

  • You don’t have someone to guide you about the best and correct way to achieve your goal. Find yours!

2. Lack of Motivation

  • Although you have guidance, you also need motivation. If you don’t have any motivation, you will not have passion to achieve your goal.

3. No Patience

  • This is the biggest reason why you cannot reach your fitness goals. There is no such way you can reach your ideal weight in just 12 minutes or 12 hour. You have to do it constantly with discipline.

4. Denial

  • You don’t want to admit to yourself that you need to change your fitness and health regime just like smoking and other bad habits.

5. Don’t Like Change

  • Yes, no one likes change. But, in order to reach your goal, you have to sacrifice your delicious breakfast that you have been having for the last 10 years!

6. Unrealistic Goal-Setting

  • This reason is due to the addiction of TV and magazines cover. We always want to be like the model in the magazines and also the beach body look on TV. Is this possible? Yes, it is possible but it takes times.

7. Lack of Know-How

  • Most of people tend to focus on quantity not quality. That is why many people who are on diet but don’t know the quality of their diet.

8. Lifestyle

  • Because of today’s era is very different with previous era, people usually spend most of their time working, on the PC or playing video games. They don’t have time to think about their diet and fitness.

9. Life is Good

  • Food is everywhere! This leads us difficult to refrain from choosing healthy foods.
